iPhone Clear for iPhone is the first task-management app that could actually work - Video
I have used many task management apps in the past in hopes of saving time and staying on task. They did the opposite of what they were supposed to do. They distracted me and I eventually lost interest — even Apple’s Reminders App has the same shortcomings — they are all designed like other apps, when they actually need to be weightless. Clear (designed by RealMac Software) is the first task-management app that I can see myself actually using… to manage tasks.
HP apparently offering 1.1 Million Dollar PC exclusive to Best Buy

Today while casually browsing my Facebook timeline, I stumbled along a post made by a friend of mine who had found a page on the Best Buy online store for an HP computer (cached). It looked like a run-of-the-mill desktop PC, but after a clear glance of the price tag, I immediately knew this was not like any other computer that I’d ever seen before. This one in particular was a pinnacle of technical innovation, a trophy of humanities achievements, and it was, ever so elegantly, tipping the scales at 1.1 Million dollars.

Videos CES 2012: The Sleuth Camera Pack from Timbuk2 - Video
Okay Geek hangs out with Timbuk2 to check out some of the coolest camera bags coming this year, and one of the best ones with the “casual photographer” in mind. The “Sleuth Camera Pack” will arrive later in 2012 with a retail price of $139 and the photographer in mind. The idea is cool enough, but with the steep-ish price, would you fork up the bones to own a new Sleuth Pack?
Okay Geek Presents: CES 2012 Beyond the Show Floor (series)

You’ve all probably wondered why we’ve gone dark over the past week without the smattering of daily posts and videos, and we have tons of excuses, but it’s mostly due to the organization of our new series we’re calling “CES 2012: Beyond the Show Floor”. We’re slipping by the rows of booths, circus performers and hordes of people to go directly to the meat and potatoes of CES — the products being presented and the people who make them.

Videos Frog plays games like a champ - Video
So there’s a game where you need to squish bugs, and a lot of people are very good at it, but what if squishing bugs was part of your every day survival? Well, you’d be really f***ing good at it. This is a frog who can play this game like a pro, but sadly it’s a tragic love hate relationship based on the fact that usually after squishing bugs, he gets a tasty snack, and in thsi game, all he gets is glass to the face.

Videos Controlled quantum levitation racer is the reason for science - Video
Remember Slot-Car racing tracks and how awesome those were? Well now imagine what those little race cars would be like in the year 2078 — injected with dry ice and locked in space with strategically placed magnets, using Quantum Levitation to zip down the track with nothing but air rushing underneath it and a tidy stream of mist in it’s wake — only it’s not the year 2078 and our minds have already been blown.
It is now 2012 all over the world!

Today a major milestone has been reached: the beginning of a new chapter and a fresh horizon. Twenty twelve, here we come! Clearing out the old to make room for the new. Marking a point in time and neatly filing away our triumphs, failures and memories for a rainy day so we can shed the burden of the past and hit the ground running into the new year with big ideas!
We want to thank all of our readers for sticking with us from the beginning, and all of our new friends we’ve met this year for being so awesome. We want to make sure 2012 is Okay Geek’s best year yet with more articles, the (soon to be) re-launched podcast and a slew of other fun things like E3 and more. Thanks for reading and Happy New Year!
