Video - Live 3D concerts in Japan with Vocaloid's Hatsune Miku

Leave it to the Japanese to mix high tech transparent screens with live concerts and anime; Welcome to the world of Vocaloid and Miku Hatsune, who happens to be one of Japan’s fastest rising Jpop idols - oh, and did I mention she’s not even real? Miku first started out as the mascot for Yamaha’s voice synthesizing program, Vocaloid, back in 2007, but little did they know that their fictional singer would take on a world of her own. Striking a cord with otaku across Japan, she’s had her own comic series, video games, and now has taken physical form, holding international live shows: performing side by side with the rest of her fictional cast. This may remind you of the Gorillaz live concert back during the Grammy’s a few years back, and although that show was done using 3D hologram technology, the basic idea is the same.
