Apple and Google secretly working on wearable gear, kinda like iPod nano watches

Turning the iPod Nano into a wearable watch may have been the first step into this new direction in Apple devices becoming the apparel of the future. Google is also hot on their heels, looking for ways to integrate wearable tech. This isn’t a far off notion as you might think considering for those who are tied to their smartphones and just can’t live without them — having them on your person at all times will make lugging around separate devices save time and also add a new definition to brand recognition. — More after the break!

Google's billions in profit put into perspective -- (Infographic)

It’s a law of nature that we grow up being taught that Google is richer than any search engine company ever should be. We don’t question it. But have you ever wondered just exactly how much Google pockets each year, and how much of that comes from advertising and its other countless services? For the most part none of this info should come as a shock to anyone but it does give you some perspective into just how disgustingly, fithly rich Sergey and Larry are and also how much power they have running the big G we all depend on. — More after the break!

Well, everyone goes online and uses a browser to access it, right? So why not add controller support for that browser and get your gaming fix without the need of a console? Google, Twitter, Facebook and others send a letter to Congress to stop PROTECT-IP & SOPA bills

As you are well aware, the US government is planning to pass a handful of bills that will enable them to execute censorship in the US and outside of the US… today. The odds are not in our favor, and as the collective, we need to stay on-top of this because if these bills (as written) are passed, it will mean disaster down the road. We could go into details, but we’ll hand you off to some people who actually know what they’re talking about after the jump!

ABC News on Google's "Do a Barrel Roll" Easter egg - The stupid hurts so bad

So a few days ago, the internet caught fire due to the fact Google had planted some really fun Easter eggs in their search page, but more realistically, they were meant to be technical demos for CSS3 and HTML5. If you type “tilt” into the search box, the entire webpage tilts a few degrees, but that wasn’t what started the excitement. If you type “do a barrel roll” in the Google search box, Google’s entire webpage does a complete barrel roll and sends surges of Star Fox 64 nostalgia up your spine.
