As you are well aware, the US government is planning to pass a handful of bills that will enable them to execute censorship in the US and outside of the US… today. I’ve always noticed that some people don’t show up in my Facebook news feed but I never cared much to fix it. I also thought that Google showed the same results to everyone. Surprisingly both sites use algorithms to only show me information that it thinks I will like. Now this is great and all but people shouldn’t be sheltered from other points of view or other facts. It begs the question: are our websites too personalized?
Google + membership rises 30% in two days after Facebook changes

In what undoubtedly is a response to the changes being currently implemented to Facebook, users have begun flocking away from the social media giant and heading for calmer waters. And y’know what?
