First Bayonetta, Now Vanquish - Platinum Games Makes Headlines in 2010

First, Capcom’s ex-Devil May Cry creator, Hideki Kamiya, comes up with Bayonetta, and now ex-Resident Evil mastermind, Shinji Mikami, is heading Platinum Game’s newest IP title, Vanquish. Making its debut on last night’s episode of GameTrailersTV, little is known about this potential shooter except the obvious connection between Halo and the film Independence Day. Bet ol’ Cappy is kicking themselves now for disbanding Clover Studios.
No gameplay was shown, but it did make quite a stir in the games community since this is Platinum Games we’re talking about. After you make something like Bayonetta it’d be pretty hard not to be noticed. You’ve got my attention Mikami, now impress me…
