How to: Make an HTML Signature in Gmail (Chrome)

Whether you're using Firefox or Chrome, if you're in need of a little bit more "mph" in your email, adding a customized HTML signature may just do the trick. And if you're using Firefox it's as simple as installing a plug-in here and there, but Chrome users have it a bit tougher. So really, this "How To" is for you.

Head over to this site and check out their WYSIWYG editor (HTML Editor); which if you're new to HTML, don't worry, since the box will do all the coding for you - just enter whatever text you like and insert images, urls, or whatever to give yourself that snazzy look you want.

Once you're done fixing up how you want your signature to look, click your way to step 2 , but first decide whether you want your signature to be added before or after a reply email. I chose before.

On the second page, drag and drop the signature link up into your bookmark bar (ctrl + b). Now whenever you want to use that signature, open up your Gmail page, and when you're finished writing an email just click onto that Signature Favicon icon in your bookmark bar and it'll be pasted at the end body of your email - It's as simple as that.

Yeah, it does mean that you'll have an extra click every time you want to use it, but it actually can be an advantage since you can choose between multiple signatures instead of just being stuck on one. After all is said and done it's just as easy to add an HTML signature into Google Chrome as it is to do it on Firefox.
