    Does Avatar Copy the Same Plot as Pocahontas?

    Is it just me, or does this appear to be the plot of Disney's Pocahontas with a couple names and places changed. I was shocked when I saw this because not only is it freakishly dead on, but the fact that 90% of the words changed in these paragraphs were names and places -- nothing else really needed to be scratched out. Even though this is a real shocker to everyone, the real question here is not "did Avatar copy this plot", but do we need to dig a bit deeper and look into the general trends of movie plots. Sure this may seem like a one in a million possibility, but wasn't that the case with Star Wars and last years Star Trek Movie.
