Access the iTunes store in your Browser... sorta

Dubbed iTunes Preview, this in-browser take on the iTunes store let's you look at the full Apple catalog... but not much else - no buying or sampling music here. So what is the purpose of the site then? Is it a supposed to be a preview for non iPod users to see what they could get from the Apple service? I don't know, but I still haven't found of a way to access the Preview from the main site, without writing a custom URL that is.

Apple should just move forward and re-imagine iTunes from the ground up. If they used a bit of creativity they could ditch the whole desktop application format and turn to the clouds - cloud computing that is.

    Hear me out on this:

A "cloud" version of iTunes would allow you to access your media from wherever, as well as sync up while on the go. Forget the limitations of piracy and so on - copy the Spotify method and you'd have yourself a money maker. But then again, none of that probably would happen anytime soon. But hey, a guy can dream can't I?
